Hi, I'm Lo, a Product Designer who turns ambiguous problems into products people trust.

I've spent the past decade working primarily in native app products, on the surfaces where people make decisions, whether that's buying something, running their business, or managing their day. My favorite work starts before the problem has a name yet.

About

I'm a data-driven product thinker and designer with nearly a decade of experience. I see design as storytelling and enjoy creating dynamic and intuitive, people-driven experiences, from start to finish.

My name is Lauren, but you can call me Lo. I'm a product designer with a background in apparel design and journalism, which probably explains why I care as much about the story an experience tells as how it works.

Over the past decade, I've led design across native apps, commerce, CRM, and productivity products, usually the kind of work where the brief isn't fully written yet, and part of the job is figuring out what actually needs solving before anyone writes the spec. I've learned that the strongest direction usually comes from being wrong first: testing a hypothesis, watching it fail, and using that to find the real problem underneath it.

I care about building things that hold up at scale, not just in the first demo, and about bringing engineering and product into that thinking early, rather than handing off a finished idea.
